FEARNE COTTON AND JESSE WOOD RECREATE HILARIOUS BECKHAM WEDDING SNAPS ON ANNIVERSARY
Fearne Cotton and her husband Jesse Wood have slipped into their wedding outfits, ten years later.
The former BBC Radio 1 presenter and Jesse, the son of Ronnie Wood made the decision to follow in the footsteps of David and Victoria Beckham who celebrated 25 years of marriage this week. Ferne, 42, and Jesse, 47, posed in their back garden as they marked their anniversary together while posing for snaps.
Ferne looked sensational in her floating white dress which was decorated by a glittering neckline as the boho gown clung to Fearne's figure as she gazed lovingly at Jesse. The musician rocked his smoky blue suit which he wore on the day back in July 2014. Although he didn't wear the same shirt, Jesse opted to keep with the blue theme and wore a light blue shirt.
However, he was unable to find the shoes he wore for his nuptials and instead went barefoot while Fearne rocked a pair of strappy silver heels. Captioning her upload, Fearne penned: "If it's good enough for the Beckhams. It's our wedding anniversary too. 10 years today. And we are back in our wedding outfits (not purple) and @jessejameswood can't locate the shoes."
Her post, which has racked up over 151,000 likes, was soon flooded with messages from fans and celebrity pals. Gemma Styles penned: "So gorgeous! Happy anniversary." While Michelle Visage added: "Happy happy you two." Fearne's long-term publicist Simon Jones gushed: "Happy anniversary."
Meanwhile, one fan added: "@fearnecotton I always loved your dress and I remember reading how you’d taken the hem off a circus dress (is that right?!) to create the top part. So beautiful then and now." "Still the best wedding dress I have ever seen," commented a second. A third penned: "Congratulations! A decade of love and journeys around the sun. Value your shared experiences; memories are life's greatest treasures. Mwah."
Earlier this week, David and Victoria Beckham recreated their iconic wedding day looks in a purple dress and suit, while sitting on lavish thrones. The football icon and former Spice Girl stepped back in time as they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They got married on July 4, 1999 in a fairytale ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin. Victoria looked stunning as she wore a floor-length satin Vera Wang gown, reportedly worth $100,000.
Posting on their Instagram accounts, David wrote: "Look what we found…" It is unclear if the outfits are the originals from their big day, but both Posh and Becks looked exactly the same as they did 25 years ago. In the new snap, the couple lounged on thrones as they held hands.
Victoria updated the look with a pair of silver stilettos that laced up her calves and wore her long brown locks in loose waves. Back in 1999, the fashion designer had her hat cut short while David debuted his fresh highlights. Now, David has a lot more tattoos and far less blonde streaks in his hair.
