FRANKIE BRIDGE STEPS AT WIMBLEDON WITH A VERY QUIRKY SHOE CHOICE INSPIRED BY ZENDAYA

Zendaya had fashion critics clapping when she stepped out for the Rome leg of her Challengers tour back in April with actual tennis balls skewered through her stiletto heels. Now, Frankie Bridge is taking notes from the Hollywood actress with ball-themed shoes for Wimbledon day four.

Frankie, who looked stunning in a keyhole halterneck gown from small brand Anna Louise Boutique, took to Instagram to share the details of her shoes. The £135 dress features a graceful halter neck and low back, exuding a timeless sophistication and grace that gives the silhouette a very Marilyn Monroe feel.

If you love Frankie's gown but you're on a budget, Pretty Lavish's Gabrielle Halterneck Midaxi Dress is £45.50 (down from £65), and gives wearers a similar halter style top and flattering 'midaxi' length.

Though the dress certainly is spotlight-worthy, it's Frankie's shoes that we can't stop looking at. The mum of two made a very quirky foot choice with white slingback stiletto shoes that featured tennis balls through the spikes of the heel. It's unclear whether she bought these shoes complete with the balls or added them on herself, but we'd hazard a guess at the latter considering Frankie penned in an Instagram story that she and her stylist "did a thing".

For good measure, the star uploaded a close-up snap of the impressive heels, tagging in Law Roach, an American fashion stylist who was clearly the brainchild of Zendaya's own tennis ball shoes. We can confirm that these heels aren't the exact same ones the Hollywood star wore, though, considering Zendaya's pair didn't have the slingback design Frankie's do.

We'll await further information from the former Saturdays singer on how they managed to thread the balls through the heels. While we do, in other fashion news from Wimbledon week, Kate Middleton's parents Carole and Michael arrived at the sporting event yesterday. Though there was no sign of Kate, Carole did ensure she kept the family's style credentials going strong in a floral printed Ceffin Irina Dress, £290, and a cream-coloured ME+EM Cotton Herringbone Fitted Short Blazer, £295. If you love her look but don't want to splash out £290, you can shop an alternative dress from Boden for £98 here.

Another Wimbledon guest from the week was Love Islander Molly-Mae Hague, who had fans rushing to order her ‘stunning’ outfit.. The 25-year-old shared a series of snaps from her ‘first Wimbledon’, which left fans begging to know where to find her outfit. One commented: “Love this dress where is it from,” with another adding: “Where’s this dress from?” “You look absolutely stunning! Hope you enjoyed it,” penned a third.

We’ve found the exact match for the mum-of-one’s sleek maxi shirt dress, and it’s from the independent London fashion label Odd Muse.
