KMART AUSTRALIA FANS OBSESS OVER $40 DUPE OF $5600 CELINE JACKET

Kmart has quietly launched a brand new stylish black boucle jacket that would look effortlessly at home on the streets of Paris, and it's already selling out in stores across Australia.

The $40 garment is elegantly cropped and done in the chic woven loop-style boucle fabric that made Chanel suits famous.

It comes with long sleeves, a button up front and mock pocket flaps with button detail.

The timeless and classic jacket is ideal for smart, formal occasions and also for dressing up jeans and everyday outfits.

Boucle style cropped jackets had been a fashion staple ever since Coco Chanel first launched her version in 1950.

Fans have noticed that Kmart's jacket is an almost perfect dupe of Celine's covetable chasseur jacket in boucle tweed, also in black - which retails for an eye-watering $5,600

Celine's version is made with wool and cotton but Kmart's contains polyester, viscose, acrylic and nylon, making it much lighter to wear and at a far more attractive price.

Instagram account Kmartinsider shared the incredible new find with its followers who were keen to get their hands on the stylish piece.

'Kmart is the nicest', one fan said.

'OMG running to the website,' another agreed.

One woman gushed, 'perfection, and such a bargain!'

'So buying...running, not walking' said another.

People couldn't believe how 'impeccable and polished' the Kmart jacket was.

One fan thought the classic black jacket also needed to be released in other colours, particularly a cream version, which would be 'divine'.

Shoppers pointed out that Target stocks a similar boucle jacket in both cream and black for $60.

This isn't the first time Kmart has thrilled fans with its savvy dupes of more expensive, designer items.

Their pop coloured $15 dollar version of the viral Stanley quencher cups which retail for $80, were a huge hit with fans and caused a buying frenzy.
